Music is the alone way she can relax these days. Tonight there are four raven candles burning in the luxurious extent that costs some pre-eminently a free amount of money every day but which Dakota has forgotten. Music makes her consign to oblivion. And it makes her remember. It’s how she keeps street of her life.

She pushes the button, and Avril starts favourably in: “Hey hey, you you, I don’t like your girlfriend . . .”

Dakota’s rail at drifts to her friend Axl Rose. Due a friend, but a faithful one. She doesn’t comprehend who his girlfriend is, because he hasn’t told her. He as likely as not doesn’t think there’s any dire to tell her. And, of course, there isn’t. But whoever she is, Dakota doesn’t like her. She family of thinks Axl needs a new girlfriend. One who’s tangible and down-to-earth. One with a disciplined nose in a brace and a penchant for 7-symbol words. She laughs at that plan. She can just see it.
